2. How We Store Data
Account data is stored in an encrypted local database on our secure server (SQLite, WAL mode). We do not transmit your personal data to third-party cloud databases. Session tokens expire after 7 days.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To manage your account and authentication session.
- To send newsletters if you have opted in (with unsubscribe link in every email).
- To improve the Site through aggregated, anonymised analytics.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Third-Party Services
- Google Sign-In: For authentication. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
- HypeLab: Advertising partner — may set advertising cookies.
- Cloudflare: CDN and DDoS protection — processes requests on our behalf.
5. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
You may: access your data, request corrections, request deletion, or opt out of marketing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
6. Data Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active. Expired sessions are deleted automatically. You may request account deletion at any time.
7. Children's Privacy
CryptoSnap is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
